swimsuits

Many swimmers have problems with keeping their suits from dry rotting so many brands for instince, speedo and uglies have come out with swimwear that is chlorine resistant. But do they really work? That's why I am conducting this experiment to prove and see if the swim suits will dry rot and to see what effects chlorine has on them.

math problem

Recently in my math class i have come across a problem my teacher has assigned to us. I have a solution to my problem and i am open to any comments or suggestions for my problem.

Problem: The top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa is about 55.9 meters above ground. As of 1997 its top was leaning about 5.2 meters off center. Approximate the slope of the tower.

Solution: I found the slope by using the equation y2-y1/x2-x1.

Answer: m= 10.75
